Workers Compensation News

We wanted to take a moment to tell you about changes to the NSW Workers Compensation regime.

You may have heard about icare workers insurance in the media recently. icare, the Nominal Insurer who deliver workers compensation insurance in NSW, are making changes to the way they process policies, renewals and claims.

Under the changes, icare will now undertake all policy and billing requirements for the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme. In addition, effective 1 January 2018, icare will partner with only one scheme agent, Employers Mutual, to manage employers new claims.

As CCI is not part of icare workers insurance, any changes to icare will not affect your Workers' Compensation cover with CCI.

As a specialist insurer, CCI is licensed by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) to underwrite workers compensation insurance for NSW Catholic entities.

We will continue to prepare all your policy related documentation and assist with your return to work outcomes.
