SchoolCare policy overview
Accidents will happen, and they can be costly. Playing sport, riding bicycles, at home and in the playground, students are at risk from injury.
CCI has developed SchoolCare, which is a student accident insurance policy specifically designed for schools, colleges and kindergartens. SchoolCare provides benefits for a range of (non-Medicare) medical services, such as dental and physiotherapy, resulting from personal accident injuries.
SchoolCare is a world-wide policy that is purchased by educational institutes to cover all enrolled students.
There are two policy types available to schools, being:
- School Activities Only
- 24 Hour
School Activities Only policy
This includes cover for school camps, school sports (including sports out of school hours, as long as they are organised by the school), work experience, camps, travelling to and from school or school activities.
It also includes any activity organised or authorised by the school. This includes before and after school care, if organised by the school.
24 Hour policy
This policy provides worldwide accidental injury cover, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Taking out a policy
Taking out a policy with CCI is easy. Simply speak with your school's CCI Account Executive or alternatively call 1800 001 028.
