If you’re an employer and are uninsured, unfortunately you are liable for the cost of claims if your workers suffer from a work related injury or industrial disease. You could also be liable for costs if a court awards damages, and NT WorkSafe may also prosecute with fines of up to $30,000. For more information, visit NT WorkSafe.
