CCI undertakes a thorough review of the circumstances of the incident to help determine liability, assess a worker’s right to access compensation entitlements, and establish the most appropriate claims management strategies.
After receiving a valid claim, if required we will contact the nominated employer contact within three working days to discuss things, such as:
- How the injury occurred
- If the injured worker required time off work
- If the work activities were a contributing factor to the injury
- If there are opportunities for the injured worker to return to work in some capacity
- If you need assistance with the claims process
We may also contact the injured worker to discuss ways CCI can assist them in their recovery and return to work.
