An important message from CCI Giving

CCI Giving continues to provide vital support

Following the recent announcement by the Board of Catholic Church Insurance (CCI) to place its organisation into ‘run-off,’ we wish to acknowledge the enduring relationship and trust between the two entities since the establishment of CCI Giving in 2017.

CCI Giving is an autonomous and financially self-reliant charitable foundation. Despite the announcement from CCI, the structure of CCI Giving allows us to continue to provide future opportunities for social initiatives seeking funding support. It also means that we can honour our existing commitments to partners and current grant recipients.

As an insurer, CCI has long operated on the principle of putting people before profits and we will continue to strengthen this ethos. CCI Giving was established and supported by CCI as a public ancillary fund. Quite simply, we would not be here without CCI. We are deeply grateful for having our independence, as a separate entity, to operate within our publicly stated objectives. Our goal of supporting the vital work of helping communities experiencing hardship and disadvantage continues.

On behalf of CCI Giving, I extend our sincere gratitude to all impacted organisations and CCI staff affected by this news and wish them the best in their future endeavours. They remind us that helping others is a great privilege indeed.
