Supporting those impacted by Bushfires
Australia has faced catastrophic bushfires since 2019's early spring, and the crisis continues with extensive fires affecting communities across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia.
If you are affected by bushfires
Clients affected by bushfires should consider individual and community safety as a first priority. If you do require emergency assistance, contact the SES or emergency services and before returning to your location ensure you confirm with authorities it's safe to do so.
If you have sustained damage to property and/or motor vehicles as a result of these bushfires, you should notify CCI as soon as possible:
Loss adjusters will visit affected clients as soon as areas are accessible, to assist with managing a claim. We will provide further information during the lodgment process.
Making a Claim
The following information will help to process your claim quickly:
Photograph damaged or destroyed items, such as equipment or furniture, before removing or discarding them if you plan to claim for these
An inventory is not necessary for total losses, however, an inventory of damaged possessions is useful
Supporting those in need
CCI has a long standing tradition of giving back to those in need. To help provide support to communities impacted by these devastating events, we've proudly partnered with St Vincent De Paul to establish an employee Bushfire Appeal.
Every dollar donated by employees will be matched 10 fold by CCI to assist families and communities in the immediate aftermath of these fires, and to support long term recovery efforts.
